Design
Before beginning the actual design phase, the JRi Engineering Team works to understand the fundamental problem the customer wants to solve. Critical data is collected in various testing environments and assessed along with key design factors of the final product, while comparing to existing competitor units. JRi will tailor the design based on the collected data and provide modeling with CAD and FEA capabilities. The end goal is to solve the customers problem so we solely focus on providing a custom tailored solution, not an easy/"off-the-shelf" product.
Prototyping and Low Volume Production
Prototyping and low volume production at low cost with quick turnarounds is JRi's strong suit. There is no corporate red tape, production minimums or buy ins. If you can dream it, we can design and produce it quickly, no matter the project scope. Additionally, since we have so much experience with low volume projects, we can provide very close cost estimates for your parts before they are even designed. JRi engineers work hand-in-hand with our machine shops from the beginning of the design process so they can immediately put your project in their queue to eliminate any down time between the design and manufacturing processes.
Manufacturing
JRi manufactures components using a core group of US-based, ISO 9001:2015 Certified machine shops who have all been trusted partners for more than a decade. With experience in additive manufacturing as well as conventional manufacturing, JRi’s engineering staff uses best practices gleaned in part from their deep knowledge of shock absorber design for each project. JRi focuses on utilizing high strength, lightweight materials and selects each mechanisms coating based on experience in performance and longevity.
